RYAN ALMA MUN AWARD CEREMONY
The six-day RYAN ALMA MUN workshop organized by Ryan International School, Greater Noida by the MCA ALMA MUN CONSULTANT MR. JACOB KELLEY from the state of MICHIGAN(UNITED STATES OF AMERICA)concluded with a simulation of the “United Nations Environment Programme” (UNEP) on Friday. The delegates were given the agenda of “climate change: adaptation and mitigation.”70 delegates of different Ryan branches were allotted countries and they enthusiastically debated and discussed solutions to the issue of climate change on behalf of their nations. The honorable guest, Mr Jacob Keeley from ALMA COLLEGE, MICHIGAN (USA) presided over the conference and provided valuable insights and advice to the students which helped them improve their knowledge and speaking skills. Over the past few days, participants learnt about research strategies, effective speaking methods, and the formation of Position Papers and Draft Resolutions which they effectively applied in the aforementioned simulation on the final day of the workshop.The learning of the participants was put to the test as they competed to become the best delegates being judged by Mr Jacob. An award ceremony was organized to give away the awards to the winners of the conference and the day came to an end with a gratitude note to the guest consultant Mr Jacob Keeley.
