Diwali Celebration at Ryan Greater Noida

Students of Ryan International school Greater Noida celebrated clean and green Diwali with festive gusto.Festivals are not only meant for celebration. They provide an opportunity to educate the children about the culture and traditions. With the same perspective,Various activities such as ‘paper Rangoli-making’, candle and ‘diya’ decoration, paper decoration, paper lanterns, as Lantern Making, Rangoli Making and Diya Decoration Activity were organised in the classes.Students were briefed on ill-effects of burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with candles, sweets and non-polluting green crackers.The spirit of Diwali came alive with a prosperous and divine prospective after seeing the zeal of students while decorating diyas.

Children got ahead with their creative instincts and enhanced their creative and motor skills.The students were told about the significance of the festival – how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Students were also sensitized to the ill-effects of crackers.
